The HR Manager is generally responsible for leading the day-to-day HR operations, including  services, policies, and programs for the entire company. While the duties of an HR Manager varies, for the most part, the HR Manager is responsible for recruiting and staffing, performance management and improvement systems, employment and compliance to regulatory concerns, employee orientation, development, and training, policy development and documentation, company employee and community communication, compensation and benefits administration and employee safety, welfare, wellness and health.  The HR Manager liaises between different departments in order to establish and facilitate company goals and objectives practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
